Who uses it

The account is created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. Children use the app through the parent's account and never create one of their own; a child profile is only a nickname and, optionally, a birth year.

What Codniko promises

• No advertising, purchases, chat or outside links in the child's area.
• Settings, statistics and account management live behind a parent gate.
• The app works offline; progress is stored on the phone and syncs when the connection returns.
• The parent sets the daily limit; when it runs out the app offers a break rather than a lockout.

What it does not promise

Codniko is a learning tool, not a diagnosis or an assessment. Progress figures are not a medical or pedagogical conclusion about a child's development and do not replace a teacher or a doctor.

Account and security

Your password is your responsibility — we never store it in plain text either. If you suspect someone else has access, change it and write to us. Signing in on a device with a different account clears the previous account's local data.

Content and rights

Texts, artwork, recordings and games belong to Codniko or are licensed to it. Copying, distributing or using them commercially without our written permission is not allowed. Some illustrations are used under open licences — the sources are named on the support page.

Messages and feedback

When you write to us, from the app or the website, we use your message only to reply and to fix the problem. Please never send us a password or other secret.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from the app itself — immediately and completely. We may restrict an account that is used harmfully or unlawfully.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date is at the top of the page. We will tell you in the app if something material changes.
